Restore Trust in Township Leadership

• Prioritize residents over politics and personal agendas by implementing ethical governance policies
• Promote fair and transparent decision-making that puts the community’s needs first
• Foster collaboration among leadership to serve all residents effectively
• Collaborate with residents and organizations from all political backgrounds

Ensure True Transparency and Fiscal Responsibility

• Conduct a complete and thorough independent forensic audit of township finances
• Implement open budget reporting so residents can track how their tax dollars are spent
• Utilize procurement and loss prevention services
• Conduct regular town halls and forums where residents can voice concerns and get answers

Stimulate Economic Growth in our Communities

• For Township contracts, prioritize the hiring of contractors that are from within Thornton Township
• Implement residency requirement for employees of Thornton Township
• Combine all township departments into a single taxing body, reducing the tax burden on residents

Restore and Expand Mental Health Services

• Reactivate mental health services in the township to provide accessible counseling and support
• Work with state and county agencies to bring funding and resources for mental health initiatives
• Develop community-based mental health programs to address stress, anxiety, and addiction recovery

Maintain and Enhance Essential Services

• Continue and improve high-quality township services, ensuring accessibility for all residents in need
• Expand programs for food assistance, transportation, and general welfare to support families, seniors, and vulnerable individuals
• Strengthen outreach efforts to inform residents about available township resources

Expand Special Needs Services

• Strengthen the Special Services Department to provide tailored programs and support
• Partner with schools, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups to improve services for individuals with disabilities
• Offer more inclusive activities, employment opportunities, and social programs for special needs residents
